Killing 2 Birds...

Miss Spencer's a good sport. Even when her throat's being crushed by a morbid cyborg, she still manages to strike a nice pose for the fans.

*** COMMISSION INFORMATION ***

----------

PRICE -- $10 PER SUBJECT**
(shipping within US $6 extra if desired)

SIZE -- 8x10

MEDIUM -- PENCIL

----------

**Subject is vaguely defined as any significant person, beastie, character, etc. If detailed background is requested, that may be considered a subject. Most of the stuff you see in my gallery is 1 or 2 subjects.

----------

Drop me a line if you want to commission a piece, and we'll figure out how best to go about visualizing it. Payment is by PayPal and will be requested upon your approval of the sketch. Once payment is received, the sketch will be razzled and dazzled. Have a gander at my gallery to get an idea for my style.

My only restriction is that the image MUST meet deviantART’s display guidelines. If the image you have in mind would be banned on DA, then you’ll probably need to look for another artist to realize it. (I have had a drawing removed by the staff, so this is important!) Please also note that drawing real people is not my strength, so while I won't say I flat out refuse to do it, such a piece is not likely to be my best work.

You will own the physical work if you choose to have it shipped, but I will post a scan of the image in my deviantART gallery and retain the right to publish or post the image here or elsewhere. I will not use your name in connection with the image unless you specifically request that I do.

Let me know if you have any questions/comments. You can drop me a note or an email.

Thanks!

Decisions, decisions, decisions...

First off, thanks everybody for the great suggestions. For now I've decided on two to work on, but there's always a chance bits of other suggestions may pop up later. So, here are the two that have most struck my fancy. The first is crisply detailed, so I may take some liberties here or there, but I like the general idea. The second is highly vague, so, happily, artistic license will run amok.

From Jinzouki (and zkfanart): "This one would be a joint request between me and my bud zkfanart. My character Midas vs his wrestler Rosa (the one with the Pink hair and yellow/black suit) ... To make it fair on Rosa, why not have her kinda climbed onto Midas's back, hanging on with one arm in a sleeper hold, has body scissors on Midas and with the other arm is tearing at Midas's suit through it's hole down ... Midas would be standing trying to shake off Rosa, but looking down embarrassed that her top has been torn off."

From halo3seanoverly: “ok wonder woman with posion ivy”

I figure these drawings will emerge in the next month or so, which is fair warning not to hold your breath unless you have incredible lungs. I've been working on some other drawings, too, so they'll go in the jumble, but they'll get done.

Thanks again, all, and happy November!

:iconfischgeist:
Thanks! I keep experimenting with shading, finding balances between dark and light with just pencil. I don't know why the Q-Tip never occurred to me before, but I've been using one extensively today!

Righto, I only really ever draw with a pacer pencil, I found it keeps the lines clean and soft, so when I eventually ink them, it rubs away easily...I recently got myself a set of pencils, from H to 6B, and I've been having a play round with the shades of them. No pictures, just exercises and stuff, to learn how they work and stuff. Hopefully, I'll be able to work them into my pics soon...

I'm afraid I'm not terribly concerned with proper pencils. I have all the pencils, but I never use them, instead relying on my very unartistic mechanical pencil for just about everything. Since I don't usually use ink or color, it works out fine for me.

End of line.
:iconvexedzero:
wow...That makes it even more impressive. And I love my mechanical pencil, Its the best!, Maybe I'll try different leads too...Thanks for the advice
